We see banking differently.

We see banking differently.
Vision Credit Union Ltd. is a community credit union with over 38,000 members across Alberta. Over the past 75 years, Vision has evolved from a single branch in Camrose with assets of $178, to become the province’s second largest credit union with 24 branches and assets over $2.5 billion.
Vision is rooted in communities where agriculture is the bread-and-butter of the economy. Many of us are farmers and ranchers too. We pride ourselves on understanding the financial needs of our members and on sharing the profits.
In 2024, Vision Credit Union returned over $35 million in profit shares to our members. Our profit share allocation is one of the highest returns paid by any Alberta credit union.

Community investment:
We do local.

When you bank with Vision Credit Union, you’re banking with a rural Albertan cooperative that cares about the community where you live. We actively support our rural communities at a local level through investments in local charitable causes, sponsorship of local teams, activities and events, support for employee volunteerism and contributions to organizations like Stollery Children’s Hospital and STARS which provide critical healthcare for rural Albertans.
Here’s what that looks like.

What Helping Hand Grants support.
Helping Hand Grants are available to non-profits and community groups for capital projects that benefit our branch communities and the people who live there. These grants are designed for larger requests that fall outside of the usual minor sports and charitable requests, which will continue to be handled directly through our local branch network.
If your organization is working to make your community safer, more enriching, more inclusive, or more connected, your project may be a perfect fit
Applications open in November 2026 and run until January 2027.
Our grant recipients: Celebrating community builders across rural Alberta
Vision Credit Union is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025/26 Helping Hand Grants. In total, more than $250,000 has been awarded to 44 community organizations for capital projects across rural Alberta.
These organizations are helping build stronger, more connected communities by improving the places where people gather, play, learn and support one another. From recreation facilities to community spaces, their projects reflect the care, commitment and local spirit that make rural Alberta such a remarkable place to call home.
