Helping Hand Grants provide funding to non-profit organizations to help build their communities.
Helping Hand Grants
The Helping Hand Grants were instituted in 2022, for Vision Credit Union, with the first grants handed out in the spring of 2023. Thirty-three non-profit organizations were granted funds of up to $10,000, totaling over $188,000. In 2024, we were able to grant 26 grants of just over $200,000! Applications are now closed for the 2025 funding year!
Our Helping Hands Grants also earned Vision Credit Union the first Community Goodwill Award to be presented by Credit Unions of Alberta. This award celebrates a credit union supporting the community in a unique and impactful way.
The Helping Hand Grant applications are now closed for the 2024-2025 season. Recipients will be announced at our 2025 Annual General Meeting.
